A fabulous apartment just off Campo Do’Pozzi recently restored by a well known Venetian architect. The restoration work has been executed with precision and care and the finished property is a cleverly and comfortably designed modern space.

Stairs to the second floor and entrance lead into the parquet and book lined hallway. To the left is the bathroom complete with huge tub and a walk in wardrobe and to the right a single guest bedroom. The hall then opens up into the well furnished open plan living/dining room. The first thing that strikes you is the amount of light that pours through the large windows brightening up the room. Original oak beams throughout have been ingeniously incorporated into the contemporary look without seeming out of place.

The well equipped and avant –garde kitchen boats Bisazza mosaics which are beautifully illuminated by the light from the tall windows which lead onto the terrace. The terrace is perfect to relax amongst the lush plants with a refreshing aperitivo in hand after a long day exploring Venice.

Stairs from the kitchen lead up to the vaulted master bedroom on the gallery which overlooks the kitchen and living room. There is a further studio space for added comfort and velux windows to let in even more light. For flexibility the double bed can be divided into two singles.

An apartment of this calibre, full of paintings, art books and numerous areas for relaxing is certainly a rare find. I almost want to keep it as a secret for myself!

Our comment: I have recently stayed in this apartment and it was a complete delight - I think the owner has done one of the best rental apartments around with maximum attention to detail and comfort - a great space for cooking and entertaining or just chilling out on your own The bathroom is absolutely designer - I loved it.....and would fully recommend it.
