This is one of a small group of apartments to let in Giudecca Mare, a new waterfront development on Giudecca with communal courtyard and dock area.

This apartment has direct views onto the central area and to the lagoon from its completely stunning glass double height frontage, as well as pretty patio at the front and an altana roof terrace with panoramic views.

The apartment has been furnished in a very contemporary style with top Italian designer furniture with particular attention to detail and good use of colour. Most of the furniture is from Poliform, while there are two Enzo Mari Cinecitta folding directors chairs which can be taken outside on to the patio or on to the roof terrace.

On the ground floor is the open plan living/ dining/ kitchen area with double sofa bed (deluxe mattress), as well as a bathroom (shower) making it very convenient for guests. Upstairs there is the master bedroom with king size bed and a further bathroom in Roman spa style with tub and shower. Stairs to the altana roof terrace. The kitchen has Alessi and Villeroy and Boch accessories and the bed and bath linen are from Heals. The double bedroom is a gallery over the living room, so open at the front.

Flooring is a warm marble throughout with beautiful, solid oak flooring in the bedroom and on the stairs. This is a super apartment with well proportioned accommodation for two couples in a fully south facing location.

Our comment: This is a very trendy and fun apartment which incorporates everything you could want in Venice - great water views, outside space, and very comfortable, ultra modern Italian style. The owners love art and architecture and this is reflected in the furnishings.
