This new apartment is very much in demand for its style and spectacular and uninterrupted lagoon views.

It is the ultra modern top floor apartment of an impressive waterfront building at Judeca Nova on the south side of Giudecca, enjoying a wonderful sunny disposition and with a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. At night the lights of the various islands twinkle in the distance and there are spectacular sunsets. The building has smart communal areas.

The accommodation comprises a good size living/dining room with kitchen area and large doors and picture window onto the spectacular terrace with fabulous Greek style columns giving natural shade. The master bedroom also has access on to the main terrace, as well as a separate small balcony. The beautifully finished marble bathroom has a hydromassage Jacuzzi bath with a fixed shower head above. Stairs from the living area lead up to to a mansarda bedroom. There is also a further separate large sun terrace close to the second bedroom with sun loungers and again, wonderful lagoon views. This terrace has an electronic awning and an outside shower (hot and cold water with screen for privacy) for cooling off on hot lazy days.

The apartment has been furnished in a relaxing designer style with top quality Italian and English modern furniture. The bed linen and covers all come from The White Company in London. Everything has been chosen to satisfy the most demanding client wanting to combine a stay in the ancient city of Venice with a super contemporary base.

Local shops on Giudecca provide all the essentials while Billa, Venice's main supermarket, is two minutes away on the Zattere. Giudecca is well served by vaporetti plying backwards and forwards to Dorsoduro and San Marco, and there is an all night service for anyone who can stay awake after midnight in Venice! Restaurants on Giudecca itself are good - Harry's Dolci, Do Mori, Altanella, Cipriani, while the Riviera, Montins, and San Trovaso are just a hop away on Dorsoduro.

Our comment: This is a lovely apartment for anyone wanting to incorporate a feeling of relaxation and calm into their time in Venice - the views are unique and three terraces a super luxury. Attention to ceiling in second bedroom for tall guests. Sorry - no children under 10 are allowed.
