Zoom in		This apartment is in a stunning position on the waterfront with breathtaking 180 degree views over the whole of the Venice lagoon starting from the Campanile of San Marco, passing the Salute, the church of San Giorgio Maggiore and ending at the Lido - a view that has barely changed in the last three hundred years. It is furnished in a very comfortable, light and airy style by its English owner with antique furniture, paintings, objets d'art and books. It has many typical Venetian period features such as white exposed beams, stucco walls and a beautiful pale yellow marble terrazzo floor. The owner has recently refurbished the property and, in addition to the new terrazzo floor, has redone both bathrooms and the kitchen. The main bathroom is now white with classically elegant dark blue slate floor tiles and has a bath and a separate shower. The rear bathroom, a cool cream and white, has a full length bath with shower attachment. The kitchen is now open plan so that you can cook looking out to sea and has been redone with pietra d'istria marble surfaces, open glass shelves, a new oven and two new fridges. The apartment is on the second floor of a 16th century house - no lift. Absolutely adorable. Our comment: This is a perfect place for relaxed living - the views are divine and the apartment quiet and peaceful. Everyone will want to stay here! Facilities: washing machine, dishwasher, oven, central heating, TV, CD, telephone. NB: On rare occasions huge boats moor outside the apartment for approximately 8 to 24 hours.
