This is the garden apartment of an impressive Grand Canal Palazzo on Dorsoduro dating from the first half of the sixteenth century, with architectural features of considerable importance.

The apartment is to the rear of the Palazzo and is stylish and ecletic in its furnishings. The garden is truly divine - a hidden paradise with a water gate at the bottom of the garden - how strange to have a boat moored at the end of one's city garden! There is a covered loggia and original statues and pillars are dotted here and there - this really is a secret oasis, completely private and from a different time.

It is perfect for two people but also has a sofa bed for a guest - it is a small double sofa bed that we would say is ideal for a teenager or child. The kitchen is good and the bathroom very modern - the apartment has just been restored and is both comfortable and stylish.

Our comment: this is the apartment that people who know Venice well dream about - a garden all of your own in an important 16th century Palazzo - and on Dorsoduro too! It's lovely. Good rates for longer stays of a month or more.
