This is an elegant and very charming top (fourth) floor apartment of an 18th century palazzo, just a stone's throw from Piazza San Marco, with a wonderful altana terrace from where you are at eye level with the angels on the top of the Basilica - the effect is thrilling and makes your head spin!

It is furnished in an elegant and classic style with parquet flooring, original beamed ceilings, paintings and attractive antique furniture. The apartment is very quiet and cosy, making it a good all year round apartment, even in the winter months when the terrace is not so much used.

The living room is well furnished and there is an additional space under the eaves with a sofa which could double as a play area for children (over seven please) or an extra sitting area. The kitchen is ultra modern and well equipped.

Our comment: This is an excellent substantial apartment in a wonderful location. The terrace is a huge plus.

Facilities: TV, central heating, washing machine, dryer, air conditioning in living area (June to September), mini oven, lift to third floor.
