This apartment has been refurbished in the Venetian style, incorporating original features such as open beams, in a very good yet quiet location overlooking the Palazzo Papadopoli gardens and a stone's throw from Campo San Polo and Rialto. The San Silvestro vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal is only two minutes away.

It is on the third and fourth floor of a 17th century house and the owners have gone to great lengths to make it a comfortable and attractive home. It is furnished to a good standard with a modern kitchen and bathroom, and of course benefits from a sunny furnished terrace for lazy breakfasts et al...

The bedrooms and kitchen are on the lower floor while the main living dining area and terrace are upstairs. The twin beds can be made up as a double while the double bed has separate mattresses, for extra flexibility.

This apartment has the same careful and perfectionist owners as v139, v191, v220 and v270. It can be rented just on its own or in conjunction with the smaller apartment, v270, to make an perfect combination for an extended family group who still want some privacy. Ideal for just two or four guests or for family parties ­ the best of both worlds!

Our comment: This is a light and sunny apartment and I am happy to recommend it. The terrace is lovely. The modern bathroom (shower only) is on the small side but of good quality.

Facilities: washing machine, central heating, fans, TV, microwave. Babysitting can be arranged on request.
