The Grand Canal Palazzo Accademia is a beautiful palazzo on Dorsoduro dating from the 17th century but whose origins date from the Gothic period - some architectural features remain from that time.

This apartment is located on one flank of the palazzo, having a mezza luna terrace on the Grand Canal.

The apartment is accessed via the main stairs of the palazzo from the ground floor.

It has a corridor entrance which also comprises a simple kitchen cupboard leading to the main living room, with doors to the terrace, a double bedroom, a bathroom (tub and shower). There is an interconnecting door between the bedroom and the living room. The living room has a sofabed for a third person.

The kitchen area and bathroom are a little old fashioned, but for those who love Venice and want that spectacular view they are adequate and would not present any problems. The apartment has original 18th century fittings, open beamed ceilings and parquet floors.

Our comment: The apartment is in a fantastic location on the Grand Canal with an impressive terrace giving views of both the Accademia Bridge and towards the Salute. Truly spectacular. Extremely popular.
