It is simply furnished, recently done with a new kitchen and nice bathrooms. It has a front and back door on the ground floor (a novelty in Venice!). On the first floor are two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a main bathroom (shower only), while on the second floor is a further bathroom (shower only), sleeping area with extra bed and access to the sunny roof terrace where I idled away far more time than I should one afternoon chatting and observing the neighbouring houses. Idyllic. The house is a stone's throw from the waterfront and only eight to ten minutes walk to San Marco, while also being close to the shopping area of Via Garibaldi. Our comment: This is a simple ‘workers cottage’ tucked away only a few minutes from San Marco - and with the advantage of a roof terrace. Simple but comfortable and close to some good restaurants. Facilities: Telephone, central heating, washing machine, oven.
