This apartment forms the whole top floor of a palazzo in Cannaregio which in the 16th century was the headquarters of one of the many Merchant Guilds of Venice - the Tailor's Guild. One can only imagine the comings and goings from the palazzo and the wonderful costumes and outfits passing through the portals - a real piece of Venetian history.

The apartment itself is furnished in the most delicious and eclectic way with many original pieces, reflecting the exquisite taste of its Antique and glass expert owner. It is both rich and very Venetian in feel - a perfect capsule of Venetian style. The terrace is divine and there are 360° views from the apartment's many windows.

Large and spacious with a beautiful dining hall, small sitting room, a further large lounge, three bedrooms (two can be twin) a main en suite bathroom and two shower rooms, a large eat-in kitchen and a delightful big altana terrace.

The apartment is relaxing and comfortable and would suit people who really want to enjoy a truly Venetian atmosphere, casual and elegant at the same time. It has many interesting antique pieces, paintings and mirrors. The main bathroom, off the master bedroom, is very attractive; the other two shower rooms are practical and functional.  The apartment has 360° views of Venice from its many windows and the terrace is big enough to sit out and have lunch on.

Our comment: this is a lovely apartment for those who appreciate the Venetian style. Not for anyone who thought that building a Venice theme park in Las Vegas was a good idea. The second bathroom isn't wonderful but in my opinion that is a small price to pay for the many good points of this apartment which is elegant and relaxing at the same time. Absolutely my "Venetian dream".

Facilities: Telephone, central heating, oven,microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, satellite TV, internet, air conditioning (two machines at the ends of the apartment, that cool the whole apartment).
