The owners of the Palazzetto San Lio produce seven award winning wines in their vineyards in the Veneto about an hour from Venice which anyone staying at the Palazzetto are welcome to try - they do three types of Prosecco (my personal favourite), as well as four still wines - Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Cabernet.
The prices are excellent and you can buy from their wine boutique close to Rialto...........definitely the place to visit at the start of your holiday rather than the end!
