Twenty years ago apartments in Venice were few and far between - very few families let parts of their palazzos and most people stayed in small pensioni or hotels. At that time I had some friends who had a small Palazzetto with eight dreamy apartments.
I saw this as a great opportunity for Italian lovers like myself to go beyond the tourist façade and live the real Venice, and so what started as a pastime has become over the years a major alternative to hotels, and a hugely successful business, based on reliability and quality.

As with anything, once the market in private properties started to develop then many people jumped on the bandwagon, and now apartments are everywhere with myriad 'agencies' on the WWW.
So, rather than become a clearing house for everything under the sun, we have sought to refine and actually limit the amount of properties we offer - we do not claim to be the only agency offering places to rent but we are certainly the foremost one in offering properties of quality and charm, always with some unique selling point to make your holiday perfect.

We offer a private pre-bookable water taxi service from the airport, and we are happy to make other arrangements on behalf of clients such as flowers, champagne etcetera.
