Arsenale III (v72)

I just wanted to thank you for our fantastic holiday in Venice. It was beyond my wildest dreams and I can't stop smiling. The apartment was great, the location stunning, your representative was very helpful and the weather was kind. We all had a great time and despite having to cater for life threatening allergies, we still managed to eat up Venice. We became very fond of a lovely man in Gastronomia in the Via Garibaldi who sold us his preferred olive oil, balsamic vinegar, wine, cheese and ham. We spent more on olive oil and balsamic vinegar than on wine. I would thoroughly recommend your company (and have been all day at work!). Will be in touch for the return trip as soon as possible.

Had a really wonderful holiday in Venice. Everything worked perfectly, and Rosie is a true delight. Loved the apartment and its location. Can't wait to do it all again.

We have just returned from another fab V.A. holiday with our two little boys (our fourth with you) - the Arsenale III was excellent (great facilities, views of the lions, in a non-touristy area but very close to the 'centre' - closer than it looks on the map). Our special memory will be of us raising our glasses of prosecco as the Campanile bell rang in the New Year with the boats hooting their horns in unison and fireworks everywhere. The weather was crisp and sunny and the boys especially enjoyed the kiddies funfair on the Riva degli Schiavoni (we HAD to have a few rides each time we passed - although we adults didn't need much persuasion as the views from the mini-helicopters were quite stunning!).

Please pass on our thanks to Jo who good humouredly made all our arrangements 30 minutes before closing the office for the New Year holiday - apologies for this but we always find ourselves doing everything right at the last minute! Also the arrangements with Massimo and the water taxi once again went like clockwork.

Just to let you know that we were delighted with our apartment; as you suggested, it was perfect with young children, and we really appreciated the location (near to Via Garibaldi & shopping, and the swing park!). We were also very pleasantly surprised at the number of good restaurants within just a short walk. Our smaller daughter loved the lions in the Campo, and still talks about them. The weather was superb too!!!
