Santa Maria Formosa Canale (v244)
Santa Maria Formosa Canale: a truly wonderful place. Fantastic rooms, all air conditioned and spotlessly clean, also in a wonderful site directly opposite Santa Maria Formosa church and even a canal and Rio close by and only I think one Ponte to climb from the Grand Canal. This accommodation made our holiday truly wonderful. One huge benefit was having the illustrated map of Venice and this must be the best map of Venice anywhere - a great asset.

This apartment really made our stay in Venice wonderful. I knew from the map that it would be close to San Marco and Rialto without being in the middle of all the tourists, but the best thing was the feel of the neighborhood. The apartment is no more than a block from a good supermarket, two bakeries, two produce markets, an internet point, lots of little shops and restaurants, and maybe the best gelato place in Venice. The view onto the canal and the Campo was a great window onto the Venitian lifestyle. My kids and I spent hours watching all the action, but it was rarely noisy. Your representative was very helpful with local information and made our arrival and departure easy with water taxis nearly to our door.

I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had in Venice. The apartment was so lovely and in such a great spot. The arrival was brilliant. When we walked out of the arrivals hall there was someone with our name on a board. He then drove us the 150 yds to another man who had the taxi. When we arrived at Campo Santa Formosa there was the owner of the apartment and a few steps and we were at the front door of the apartment. What could have been easier?
Thank you Venetian Apartments for making our stay so special. We shall definitely use you again.
