Santa Croce Giardino Due (v191)
I am writing to say how much we enjoyed our stay in Venice recently in Santa Croce. The apartment was well appointed and in a most convenient place within easy walking distance of the bus and train stations, vaporetto stop and supermarket. Early evening was lovely sitting in the local square and watching the children playing and mums and grandparents chatting. The garden was beautiful. We enjoyed a delicious meal in Osteria Alla Zucca which was just around the corner from the supermarket. Thanks again for your help and attention. If we are lucky enough to travel to Venice again we will use your company again and would recommend you to friends and family.

We have just returned from a week’s stay in Santa Croce Giardino II and wanted you to know how absolutely delighted we were. It is a beautiful, well appointed apartment in a lovely quieter part of Venice which we fell in love with. It is well situated for vaporetto stops and a handy supermarket around the corner plus a short walk to the Rialto bridge and its fruit, vegetable and fish markets. The garden was so welcome after a day’s exploring and it was great to sit in it listening to the sound of church bells drinking a nice glass of Prosecco. The owner kindly left us gifts of Prosecco, biscuits and a lovely Murano glass wine stopper, and she and the maid were extremely helpful. We felt more like locals than tourists and will certainly go back again to the same apartment. Hesitate to recommend it too much in case too many other people get to know and we can’t book it ourselves again!! Many thanks for everything you organised: the apartment, and taxis were first class.

I am going through my notes, photos, postcards, and memorabilia from our trip to Venice. We very much enjoyed your little apartment and will recommend it whenever the opportunity arises. We we were thankful for the bit of calming green that your beautiful garden provided after a weary day of wandering around the streets of Venice. We did not actually have much time for sitting in the garden, but were cheered with its beauty when we looked out our windows. We were pleased with the location and the convenience of the COOP store in the Campo. We also enjoyed hearing all the church bells. The people at Venetian Apartments were very helpful and the information they provided was well presented and very useful.

We have had a lovely time: Giardino II was just right for my wife and myself. Santa Croce is a heaven after the hurly burly of some parts of Venice, and we are told this is a quiet time! There was no need to seek your assistance, everything is easy and approprate in such a well equipped flat. Thank you for your good wishes which we reciprocate. Now we return to the hills of a wet and windy Wales and our memories of a beautiful city.

All eight of us enjoyed staying in your apartments (v191, v139 and v220) enormously. We were touched and delighted by the presents which greeted us (Prosecco was such a good choice - it is a great favourite of ours), and we loved the apartments and their decor. Your representative was very kind and helpful, and she provided me with some challenging vocabulary exercises as she explained the whereabouts of fridges, washing machines and central heating controls!
Our planes, taxis, arrivals and departures all went perfectly smoothly, and we were immediately able to relax in our comfortable apartments. We all had an extremely happy week, and I was asked to write on behalf of the whole party.

Again I write to thank you for helping to make our holiday in Venice so comfortable and enjoyable by allowing us to rent the appartment Santa Croce Giardino II. We had a wonderful time exploring Venice again and even managed once to return to the apartment from deepest Dorsoduro without looking at the map!! We found all the favourite shops again, usually by accident, braved the Rialto markets for food shopping, joined in the Salute festivities and explored the Lido and other islands we had not seen three years ago AND visited the newly restored Fenice Opera House (breathtaking!). But there is still more to do and see there and I think more visits will be necessary!!
The apartment is very well appointed and perfectly situated for all our needs. We regard the no.1 Vaporetto as our personal taxi service! Thank you again for your kind hospitality.

It was a pleasure to meet the owner and her husband last week in Venice. I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying at the apartment, and appreciated the care they have taken in making it a comfortable and practical holiday home.
We found the Santa Croce area ideally placed to explore Venice, and enjoyed living in a part of the city which still feels Italian rather than ‘touristy’.
Thank you for the welcoming Prosecco and biscuits, which were very much appreciated as we arrived in pouring rain, feeling damp and tired.
We left many places unvisited. I now have a very good reason to return to Venice again soon. I hope we shall be able to stay again at Santa Croce Giardino.

My partner and I have just returned from Venice, where we were accomodated in Santa Croce Giardino Due (V191).
May I say thank you; to you, to everyone at Venetian Apartments and to the owner of the apartment. The apartment was SUPERB. I cannot emphasise this strongly enough! The owner had left a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, a Murano glass pen and some traditional butter biscuits for our arrival. Very welcoming... the apartment was spotlessly clean, the furnishings lovely and the garden a delight.
Thank you so much - please pass on my thanks to the owner and to her cleaner. It is the first time we have used you but I do not believe it will be the last...

Thank you so much for helping to make our trip Venice so enjoyable! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Serenissima and have already decided that another visit HAS to be planned for next year! We were very comfortable in your charming appartment and liked the sestiere very much. The greatest fun was had in getting very lost, despite maps, and then recognising a small calle or campo and getting on track again! And thanks to aqua alta we now have very smart new rubber boots (known as ' Wellingtons' in England); none of our English friends have ever seen Venetian high water so we feel very pleased to have experienced it!! All in all, our holiday was the most wonderful trip and we left your beautiful city feeling very sad to be going. But most of all we would like you to know how much we enjoyed "living" in your delightful apartment and hope to come again.

We've just returned from a wonderful week in Venice. We had a warm welcome from the owner (and some wonderful gifts!). The apartment is delightful - huge garden, wonderful 'Venetian' decor, and the neighborhood is perfect - makes you feel a bit more like a 'local' and isn't overrun with other tourists!
Kudos to you and your excellent website - the apartment was exactly as we'd envisioned from the photos, maps and other's feedback. And your documentation was incredible! We stayed at two other rentals during our vacation (Barcelona and southern France) which were great, but none were as flawless and thorough as your website and booking process!
We are definitely planning to return to Venice and will recommend your site to all our friends.
