Sant' Angelo (v18)
I have just returned from my week in V18 Sant'Angelo, and I thought I should write to say how much I enjoyed my stay. It was such a peaceful apartment, in a perfect location. It seemed like the whole of Venice was within easy walking distance, and the nearby restaurants were outstanding. The owner's daughter met me as arranged at the vaporetto, and at the end of my stay he allowed me to keep the apartment until 4.30, as there was no occupant for the following week. That sort of personal treatment makes a holiday so enjoyable, and in effect it gave me an extra day.

Having just returned from Venice yesterday we wanted to thank you for the first class arrangements and accommodation. The water taxi and meeting arrangements went perfectly. The apartment was comfortable, quiet and well positioned for a very pleasant stay in Venice. Thanks are due also to Signor dal Maschio who looked after us very well. This was our first apartment rental in Venice and we feel sure it will not be our last.

We had a great time, and Sant'Angelo - and the welcome from the owners - was excellent. The flat was very comfortable indeed, well equipped, atmospheric, quiet and well located. We were so lucky with the weather (particularly having now seen the newspaper photos of Venice under snow)!
All the arrangements worked very efficiently, as we have found with Venetian Apartments in the past. So thank you very much for providing the essential for a delightful holiday.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our "second honeymoon" in Venice. The city was still as magical as ever and - as 10 years ago - the sun still shone despite it being October. Sant'Angelo is indeed a "perfect Venetian bolthole". It is a very stylish little apartment - thank you for finding it.
Thanks also for your help, and perhaps you could pass on our thanks to the owner who was most understanding despite our arriving late in the evening (and on a Monday!).

We had a wonderful week in Venice - it was everything I had remembered from fifteen years before, and more. The apartment was ideal, in the heart of everything, but tucked away to make it quiet - apart from the "birds and bells". The arrival procedure worked so well, and I was rather worried about it, but when I hopped off the vaporetto it was easy to spot the owner - who was lovely.
Having an apartment was such a good idea - it made us try our Italian on the various shopkeepers, who were all so helpful, and I now know what you mean about their attitude to children, as my 10 year old was given a chocolate bar by one shop owner. Can't see that happening here!
