I wanted to thank you both for your assistance renting the apartment in San Vio in Venice. I have just returned from my all-too-short vacation and had a delightful time. The apartment was everything we had hoped for -- excellent location, homey, and spotless. Your representative was very helpful and genial. The apartment was beautifully presented and in a great location and was even better than I had expected. Just to say that my wife and I had a wonderful two weeks in Venice. The San Vio apartment was very comfortable and well appointed and excellently situated in Dorsodouro, providing a haven from the main tourist sites yet being well provided with local amenities, not least the Enoteca! The owner was a charming and helpful host.
I would certainly recommend Venetian Apartments to others seeking self catering accommodation in Venice and the San Vio apartment in particular.

The second sentence of the first paragraph of M.B.'s comments on this apartment (May 2005) takes the words right out of my mouth when dealing with Venetian Apartments.
The apartment is indeed absolutely lovely. It is equipped to a very high standard, admirably maintained and spacious. The plants outside provide a warm and homely appeal. It is excellently situated in a quiet residential area with easy access to different vaporetto routes as well as to the Alilaguna service. And of course it is within easy reach of a certain supermarket! Last but not least, the owner is very welcoming and helpful.
This apartment is certainly an ideal place to stay when visiting what is perhaps the world's most magical city!

We had a marvellous two week holiday, and the San Vio apartment played an important part in our enjoyment of Venice. One of the reasons I chose your company to book a flat was the wealth of information you provide to prospective clients in the photos, written description, floor plan, and previous renters' comments.
A very pleasant surprise was the original art in the apartment. The furniture was also much better than what one expects in a vacation rental, lovely antiques and rugs, especially in the bedroom.
The apartment was spotless, and well maintained; great water pressure and very good, modern plumbing fixtures in bath and kitchen. All the bed and linens were top quality.
The location was just what we wanted, in a quiet residential area, yet with a lively small shopping and cafe area nearby, at the Accademia. With our Venice Cards, we went to the vaporetto dock there and found it easy to reach all our destinations. We were also pleased that the owner provides a wheeled bag for transporting provisions from the market. The Billa on the Zattere was convenient.
Thanks to you and everyone else at Venetian Apartments for your help in making such an enjoyable visit to one of the wonders of the world, Venice.

We returned last week from our holiday in Venice. I can't thank you enough for the thorough preparation that you gave us. We loved where we stayed. The apartment was delightful - beautifully renovated, well equipped, and in a fabulous location. The information that you provided along with the help of the apartment owner made for the best vacation that our family has ever had. We truly felt that we had a home away from home. Thank you again for having established such a complete holiday/apartment service. We have already highly recommended your agency to many of our friends.
P.S. Taking the water taxi at 5:15 AM was a magical way to travel through Venice to the airport.

Just to say how much we all enjoyed our week in Venice and how much we liked both the house in San Vio and the owner. The location was ideal, tucked away and quiet. There is so much art in the house, it is like being in a little art gallery but more comfortable. And the owner was so helpful and friendly, that definitely contributed to the experience too. A definite success!

On behalf of myself and my two friends, I just wanted to say thank you not only to yourselves but also to the owner of San Vio for making our stay in Venice so enjoyable.
The apartment was beautiful both inside and out, and the owner (and her dog!) couldn't have been friendlier. My friends and I have been to Venice a number of times but this was the first time we stayed on the Dorsodoro side and I would highly recommend it! The area is fantastic, the people are wonderful and the food excellent. We spent most of our time propping up the local economy by buying our food supplies etc in the local shops, it was great fun. Thank you again.
