Altana (v121)
Just a brief email to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay in the apartment Altana at the beginning of April. The apartment is so well appointed and in such an interesting area. The view over the rooftops from the balcony is stunning. We love walking and found it so easy to get around. The map you provided was excellent. Your representative was most helpful - nothing was too much trouble. It enhanced our stay to have this degree of friendliness, particularly as it was our first time in the city. We hope to have another holiday in Venice before too long.

This is the second time we've used Venetian Apartments, and both times we have been very pleased with the efficiency of the service, and the quality of the apartments. On this occasion we stayed at the Altana apartment, which was lovely - the owner had provided some very thoughtful touches, and the apartment is beautiful - very convenient for all the attractions, beautifully designed, and the rooftop terrace was amazing. The key holder was very friendly and understanding (especially as we had to make a last minute change to the plans) I can heartily recommend this apartment.

Thank you so much for making your "bolt hole" available to us. It is the most enchanting place made special by the books, the music and being able to eat one's breakfast amongst the chimney pots. We had a wonderful two weeks.

We had a wonderful week in Altana. The weather was great and we excused ourselves trying to see far too much, but enjoying every minute. The apartment was very atmospheric and the roof terrace was a wonderful bonus. A recent visitor had drawn a plan showing all the towers in view from the roof - very interesting and informative.
Now we can't wait to be going back, so I'm sure I will be speaking to you again.

I just wanted to send a few words to let you know what a fantastic holiday we had at the Altana. We got back on Saturday and can't wait to return! Everything went like clockwork for our arrival - the private taxi transfer was such a good idea, we wished we had booked one for the way back too. This year we have made the time and effort to let you know what a wonderful holiday we enjoyed - Altana was heaven. No photograph could ever do it total justice. It was more than we expected and we spent an idyllic week of sheer bliss among the rooftops of Venice.
The contact in Venice was so helpful and friendly and the fact that there were no bridges to negotiate with the luggage has to be a boon.
The location was absolutely perfect with everything we needed close by. The availability of a CD player also meant that we could play the jazz CDs we bought in the local record store! The apartment was so well equipped - even down to loo rolls and the books and information that were so useful.
We were, again, impressed with the simplicity of booking and thank Joanna for all her help and advice. We thank you for all your help and with a treasure trove of happy memories of this year's holiday we are already making plans for 2002.
