Terrazza Ca' d'Oro (v110)
I thought you'd like to know that we had a superb time at Terrazza Ca' d'Oro in September. It is the most sumptuous apartment, with a stunning main bedroom and bathroom. Meals on the altana terrace overlooking the rooftops and the Campanile in the distance were an absolute delight. The maid was on the lookout for us as we arrived (what she managed to accomplish in her allotted hours was staggering) and on our last day we also met the pleasant owner of the apartment and so were able to thank him personally. It was not a part of Venice that we knew particularly well at first but we found it an ideal base and much enjoyed exploring. The local pasticceria ('Puppa') at 4800, Calle de Spezier (barely a minute away, just over the first bridge) - is also much recommended and has excellent bread on Sundays! We hope to return very soon. Many thanks again for your customary impeccable service.

Just a quick email to say how much we enjoyed our stay in Venice. The apartment was lovely - very comfortable, spacious and homely - in a great location and with terrific views. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The terrace was wonderful - for breakfast - for evening drinks - for just sitting, to take in the sights and sounds. The owner was helpful and charming. We are grateful for getting early access to the apartment when we arrived - and for being able to leave our bags until it was time to get our flight. We had such a great time - we were sorry that it was "only" a week.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in Terrazza Ca'd'Oro the week of October 8-15. The only thing that would have improved our trip would have been to stay two weeks instead of one! The apartment was heavenly, the weather was gorgeous, and we all loved staying in Cannaregio. Our sincerest thanks to everyone at Venetian Apartments, and to the owner of Terrazza Ca'd'Oro, for providing a truly authentic and utterly enjoyable Venetian home base during our stay in one of the most magical cities in the world.

We had an absolutely fabulous time in the apartment over Christmas. The location, decor, kitchen with every implement imagineable, and private water taxi all exceeded our expectations. I would stay there again.

The apartment was awesome! We enjoyed many a Bellini out on the beautiful terrace listening to all the bell towers chiming in the distance, and loved the spectacular canal views from all the windows. And it was great to have the full-sized kitchen (although the food was so great in Venice that we didn't cook much - but we constantly stocked the fridge with water, beer, cheese, and Bellinis!!).
Also, the location was fantastic. We loved being in the Cannaregio district with all of its shops and great restaurants, and enjoyed walking every night down to San Marco or to another district (with stops for beer and gelato on the way).
All in all it was an absolutely magical vacation. We have both travelled a lot, but we agree that Venice is the most beautiful city in the world. Oh, and we were especially appreciative of the apartment owner who gave us a ride in his boat early Saturday morning to Piazzale Roma. We had tons of baggage (including lots of newly acquired Venetian masks, shoes, scarfs, etc) and we were dreading hauling everything down to the vaporetto stop.
Thanks for all of you helping us to have such a wonderful honeymoon.

Just a short note to say thanks for the arrangements that you made for my trip to Venice last week, staying at Terrazza Ca D'oro. Everything went like clockwork and the place was excellent, we all loved the "faded grandeur" atmosphere and made full use of the terrace on the good sunny days. I look forward to using your services again when I next decide to visit Venice and you will certainly be highly recommended by me to others.
