Giardinetto (v105)
As before (a year ago) we had a really excellent time not least due to having use of the well appointed apartment v105 Giardinetto and all the information that the owners provided as well in their apartment. In addition we are also grateful for the information provided in your info pack and also on your website that as before helped both our arrival and our stay. We therefore greatly enjoyed our second visit to Venice and, as before, we will certainly recommend you to our friends and indeed any others who might also be interested in renting in this beautiful city.

We spent a week here at the end of August and had a wonderful time. The apartment is well laid out, very friendly and comfortable. We also loved the recommended restaurant 'da Alvise' which is a three minute walk from the apartment where M. Alvise welcomes you and helps you feel at home. (He knows the owners well.) Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful time in this apartment, it really is lovely and well thought out and well-equipped, as you say. Also, the location close to Fondamenta Nuove could be stressed as very convenient for many things, as we discovered, such as Alilaguna (30 minutes to the airport), boats to other islands, vaporetti to many places without going down the busy Grand Canal, etc. Great holiday, many thanks.

We had a splendid week - everything was wonderful (including the weather) and all went according to plan with no hiccups at all. We loved the apartment - which seemed to have everything one could ever want - a real "home from home". Your large scale map was excellent - we never went out without it!

We were delighted with the accommodation and the care that the owners had taken equipping the apartment and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone. Although it is some distance from San Marco its closeness to the Fondamenta Nuove means that its location is surprisingly good.

We had a wonderful time in Venice due largely to the quality of our accommodations at Giardinetto. It was a fabulous flat which we enjoyed greatly. The only problem was persuading ourselves to leave to see the sights each morning. We enjoyed just relaxing around the apartment and cooking wonderful meals in the gourmet kitchen. The owners left detailed instructions on everything from how to work the washer and dryer to where to find the local shopping. They also called to welcome us on our first day and again the next morning to see if we had any other questions. They made us feel much at home.
The flat itself was beautifully decorated with Venetian glass and prints as well as needlework made by the owner, who is obviously very talented. The beds were very comfortable as was the lounge and kitchen. Overall, Giardinetto had the feel of being in someone's home, which of course we were. The very thoughtful owners even left food and wine. The flat was extremely well equipped and its position, about a block from the vaporetto, could not have been more ideal. We were extremely satisfied with the accommodations and hope to return again soon. Thank you for making our stay in Venice so memorable.

My wife and I spent a week at the Giardinetto apartment, and I resolved that I must write upon our return to express our delight with the accommodation.
The owners are to be commended for their excellent and well-equipped pied à terre. It was very comfortable and a delight to return to after a busy day's sightseeing. To have, in addition, the charming, small garden courtyard to adjourn to after the "hustle and bustle" of the city, for a pre-prandial drink or two in the evening, or to take breakfast in the mornings, was indeed a bonus.
Thank you again for all the arrangements made, to enable us - for a brief few days - to indeed feel like a local - un Veneziano!

In a word, Giardinetto was perfect: the invisible hand of experienced and knowledgeable owners anticipated our every wish. Lovely artwork adorned the spacious and comfortable lounge and bedroom. The bright but shaded garden brimmed over with jasmine, roses and geraniums. A newly equipped kitchen and stocked pantry that would delight the most exacting chef. The library offered every help with Italian, guides on every aspect of Venice, cookbooks and food references and even a field guide to birds.
This was unsurpassed self-catering. Steps away from markets, restaurants and the vaporetto, but a world away from the harried tour groups of San Marco, we revelled in our good fortune to have discovered Venetian Apartments and Giardinetto.
