We had been to Venice several times before, but an apartment is so much more economical (4 of us) and gives you an opportunity to live as a Venetian for a short time.

Met at every step of the journey by water taxi operator, apartment rep etc. Everything (apart from the weather, water bus strike and air traffic control strike) went like clockwork and we cannot blame you for weather and strikes.
